We have been using domainserver storage for Outlook .PST files since Outlook 2000, 2003, 2007 and now 2010. I really need to be able to get back into that info. To fix, make sure Outlook is not running (rebooting it is recommended too) and try again. I have two Workgroup accounts on this PC and strangely enough, my account worked fine, but my wife's didn't (hers is the important one).

I had closed the outlook by killing the process and re-start again. MS has a program PST2GB which allows you to remove part of what in my case was a .pst file that exceeded the 2G limit. I checked a working account, and it did display correctly. program.
